Dear friends,
I'm delighted to bring you an update on our Vestry and the Property Team's mission and the broader work we're doing together as a parish. Our beloved grounds and buildings are an extension of our shared faith and fellowship--spaces that provide welcome, comfort, and the opportunity for spiritual growth. As we move forward, the Property Team is committed to ensuring these spaces truly reflect our core purpose of worship, community, and service.

In line with these priorities, the Property Team's mission is to evaluate our physical spaces with fresh eyes: How can we fund, adapt, and maintain our facilities so they continue to serve as a place of welcome, spiritual nourishment, and community outreach? We plan to engage everyone's voices--listening to ideas and insights from members of the congregation--so that together, we can map out a property vision that addresses both current needs and future opportunities.
We will work with the staff and Fixit team to establish clear goals, timelines, and a plan for ongoing communication, ensuring that our buildings and grounds remain a strong foundation for the life and work of Emmanuel.
I encourage you to stay connected with our team (askvestry@emmanuelmi.org), ask questions, and share your hopes for the future of our campus. Thank you for your continued support as we steward these sacred spaces together.
In gratitude and fellowship,

Carlos Obando
Emmanuel Vestry Property Team
