Transforming

the

World

Forming Ourselves: A strong spiritual life that is lived and practiced both inside and outside of our primary liturgical gatherings. Our liturgical identity is expressed through a range of worship experiences that include traditional and contemporary. The commonality is that we create a strong liturgical experience through music, liturgy, and preaching.

Nurturing Each Other: A commitment to being an intergenerational community. The unique spark of Emmanuel is our community. We are warm and welcoming, while authentically including children and youth into our common life. Our community is strengthened through the ways in which we come together: our larger social gatherings, small groups, formation classes, and service together.

Transforming the World: Service and justice work that is an integrated part of our community. Again, this is living into doing what we do well. We cannot tackle every issue and need. Focusing on cornerstone projects allows us to dive deep into particular issues and needs.
